Delete your account

Effective 4 August 2026.

You can ask us to delete your HETF account and the data associated with it at any time. You do not need the app installed, and you do not need to be signed in to make the request.

How to request it

Email kimoy@1dash.io from the email address on the account, with the subject "HETF account deletion request".

Tell us:

The email address on the account.
Your company name.
Whether you want only your own login removed, or the entire company account including its filed paperwork.

We reply to confirm the request came from you before deleting anything — otherwise anyone who knew your email address could erase a company's records. Once confirmed, we complete the deletion within 30 days, and normally within a few business days.

Deleting a whole company account cannot be undone. It removes filed government forms that a contractor may still need in order to be paid, or to answer a question about a past fire. Please be certain before asking for it.

What gets deleted

If you delete only your login

Your name, email address and password.
Your sign-in tokens, so every device is signed out.
Any invitations you sent that have not been accepted.
Your unsubmitted drafts.

Forms your company has already filed stay with the company. They are business records belonging to the contractor rather than to you personally, and they carry a government officer's signature that cannot be collected again. Your name may remain visible on a form you signed, for the same reason a signed paper invoice still has your name on it.

If you delete the whole company account

Everything above, for every member of the company.
The company profile, crew list, equipment and task forces.
Every filed invoice and roster, including the stored PDFs and signature images.
Every receipt, receipt photograph and uploaded document.

This is a permanent deletion from the live database and from file storage.

What may be kept, and for how long

Encrypted backups for up to 30 days after deletion, after which they age out automatically. We do not restore deleted accounts from backups.
Email already sent. A completed form that has already been emailed to a Forest Service Finance section is in that recipient's mailbox. We cannot retrieve or delete it, any more than we could recall a posted letter.
Records we are legally required to keep, for as long as the law requires and no longer.

Just want some of it gone?

You do not have to delete the account to remove data. In the app you can delete individual receipts, uploaded documents and unsubmitted drafts, and an administrator can remove a team member without touching anything else.
